First Blog Post.

Yes, well…interesting first blog title – should only be around a million or so of those. I have been putting this off. Sitting down to the computer, I’m now semi-equipped with an idea… but how to convey it…hmmm, just type. Sit down and type. Something – the first thing – the only thing, that should do it. No, it won’t.

I’ve climbed ‘your first blog’ hill, the Everest of blogging information…by the time you read some information (and, come on people, it’s changing every minute) then sat down to start typing, you’ve either forgotten what you were wanting to blog about, or it’s time to cook dinner.

Do I want this to be the Moby Dick of first blogs…of course! Do I want  you to forever remember my name and sign up for all future blogs and books published, I’d be a liar if I said “no way”… BUT…all I really want is to share a story with you.

The story is one I came up with a few years ago. It started as an idea, a little twinkle in my eye, after the birth of my first child. It grew and moulded, taking on a life of its own. I went from creator to observer watching as it played out in the dark recesses of my mind, my private cinema.

Let’s jump forward, shall we?

My little story is now at the confronting stage of publishing. I’m playing the waiting game, and that’s ok…! It’s hard to contain the excitement and even harder to do so on my own. I’d like to share the ups and downs (please be my emotional crutch?), acceptance and rejection…most of all I want to share the story, my book. It’s been on repeat for so long in my mind that it needs an escape.

So it’s here in the ether that I’ll fill you in – let you know where I am with it, the process, the results and even some little excerpts along the way.

Kellie.
